Who these terms are with
Coaching is provided by Pippa Earley, trading as Train with PACE. These terms apply when you book a session, whether for yourself or for a child in your care. Booking a session means accepting them.
Booking and payment
Sessions are paid in full before the session begins, by bank transfer or cash on the day. A session is only confirmed once Pippa has agreed the time and venue with you.
Prices are those quoted at the time of booking. Where sessions are bought as a block, the block is paid for up front and the rate applies to that block only.
Cancellation
48 hours' notice is required to cancel or move a session. With less than 48 hours' notice, the full fee applies. This is not a penalty — the slot is held for you and cannot realistically be filled at short notice.
If Pippa has to cancel, you will be offered an alternative time or a full refund, whichever you prefer.
Sessions may be moved or cancelled for weather that makes a venue genuinely unsafe. Track sessions run in most conditions, and a cancellation on those grounds is Pippa's decision to make.
Health and fitness to train
Before the first session you must complete thehealth questionnaire, and you are responsible for the information being accurate and kept up to date. Tell Pippa as soon as anything changes — a new injury, a new diagnosis, a change of medication.
Bring any inhaler, EpiPen or emergency medication to every session. Pippa is a coach, not a medical professional, and coaching is not medical treatment or physiotherapy. If you have a condition that might be affected by exercise, get your doctor's advice before starting.
Training may be stopped at any point if continuing would not be safe.
Athletes under 18
A parent or guardian must complete the health questionnaire, give consent, and provide emergency contact details that will be answered during the session.
Parents and guardians are responsible for getting the athlete to the venue and collecting them. Pippa's responsibility for an athlete starts when the session starts and ends when it finishes.
Venues and conduct
Sessions take place at third-party venues, and while you are there you are also bound by that venue's own rules. Some venues charge their own track or facility fee, which is separate from coaching fees and is made clear before booking.
Pippa may end a session without refund in the event of abusive or unsafe behaviour towards her, another athlete, or venue staff.
Responsibility
Physical training carries an inherent risk of injury. You take part voluntarily and accept that risk. Coaching is delivered with reasonable skill and care, but no particular result — a time, a place, a selection — is promised or guaranteed.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. Beyond that, liability is limited to the amount paid for the session in question.
Personal belongings are your responsibility. Pippa is not liable for items lost or damaged at a venue.
Photography
Video analysis is a normal part of technique coaching, and is used to help the athlete. Nothing is used publicly — on social media, this website, or anywhere else — without your explicit permission, which you can withdraw at any time.
This website

Changes and governing law
These terms may be updated, and the version that applies to a booking is the one published when you made it. They are governed by the law of England and Wales.
